Location: SofiaWork pattern: Hybrid- 2 days per week in office (Sofia)Contract Type: PermanentHiring Process: 2 stagesSalary: Up to €72,000 Gross/a DOE + benefits package + bonusYour Role:We are looking for a Senior Associate Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce/Magento Open Source). This client-facing role combines consulting, development, and platform reliability to deliver secure, high-performing ecommerce solutions. You will work on feature implementation, integrations, and performance optimization while ensuring operational excellence through analytics and advanced debugging.Must-Have Skills:Strong proficiency in PHP, Magento 2 module development, and custom API integrations.Experience with Magento architecture, EAV model, caching, and indexing.Knowledge of MySQL, optimized SQL queries, and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS).Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools (Xdebug, Blackfire, New Relic).Bachelor's DegreeKey Responsibilities:Build and customize Magento 2 features (extensions, modules) and storefront experiences.Develop REST/GraphQL integrations with ERP, OMS, payment, tax, and shipping systems.Execute data migrations (customers, catalog, orders) and environment setups.Optimize performance using Varnish, Redis, and indexing strategies.Implement observability and analytics (GA4, Adobe Analytics) and conduct A/B testing.Manage full incident lifecycle and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and AWS-based hosting/scaling.Nice-to-Have:3–6 years of coding experience, including 3+ years in Magento 2.Adobe Commerce/Magento certification.Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, PCI-DSS).Exposure to cloud platforms, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CDN optimization.Ready to build what’s next?
