Senior Consultant - Cyber Security- Cloud SecurityAs part of our Cyber Technology Consulting team, you will execute Cloud Security engagements for clients across the MENA region. You will work closely with clients to design, implement, and mature cloud security strategies, architectures, and governance models aligned with their business, regulatory, and compliance needs.The client base spans various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams across EY Consulting services to deliver integrated cybersecurity and cloud transformation solutions.The opportunityWe’re looking for a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Cloud Security strategy, architecture, and implementation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global firm and help shape the cloud security posture of regional and international organizations.You will work on high-impact projects across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP — supporting clients in enhancing cloud resilience, compliance, and governance in line with international standards and national regulations.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, procedures and governance frameworks.Assess security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud-based systems and recommend appropriate solutions to mitigate them.Perform cloud security audits, posture assessments, and readiness evaluations.Provide guidance and training to clients and technical teams on cloud security policies and best practices.Evaluate the effectiveness of cloud security controls and make recommendations for improvements.Collaborate with other IT staff and vendors to implement and manage cloud security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.Align cloud environments with leading frameworks such as NCA, ISO 27017/27018, NIST, and CIS.Analyze cloud security reports and make recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities or weaknesses.Develop and maintain documentation for cloud security policies and procedures.Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud security and make recommendations for their implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional EY teams to deliver integrated security and digital transformation projects. Develop detailed reports, articulate technical findings, and deliver actionable recommendations to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.Skills And Attributes For SuccessStrong understanding of cloud security architecture and governance principles.Ability to translate complex cloud security risks into practical, actionable solutions.Excellent client engagement and presentation skills.Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership in a consulting environment.Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. To qualify for the role, you must haveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focusing on cloud security.Proven experience designing, implementing, or assessing secure architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts, including IAM, encryption, data protection, and compliance.Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, NIST CSF, CIS,NCA and PCI DSS.Practical understanding of key security technologies and concepts, including certificates, WAF, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDOS protection, VPN, and encryption protocols (SSL/TLS, IPSec).Experience performing risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews for cloud environments.A valid passport for travel.Excellent communication skills with a consulting mindset.Ideally, you’ll also haveCloud certifications such as:Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer AssociateAWS Certified Security – SpecialtyGoogle Professional Cloud Security EngineerSecurity certifications such as:CISSP, CCSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or CompTIA Security+Experience delivering cloud security advisory in regulated industries such as government, finance, or energy.What We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
