Senior Consultant, Project Startup / Planning PMO Support (IT System Implementation for Banking Industry)

With 4,400 consultants in Japan, and 3,100 in overseas offices concentrated in Asia, our 7,500 consultants and global alliance partners provide truly comprehensive services.Responsibilities:Support the assessment and coordination of multiple IT projects and initiatives across the APAC regionIdentify and prevent inconsistencies or potential risks in project planning and executionCollaborate with stakeholders including regional IT, compliance, operations departments, APAC offices, and external vendorsAssist in project planning activities such as defining As-Is/To-Be processes, migration planning, test planning, and creating WBSPrepare project documentation and materials to support internal approval processesFacilitate effective communication and meeting management among multiple project managers and stakeholdersContribute to senior management reporting and project governance documentationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in any related fields. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a financial institutionProven experience in system implementation or migration projects with regional or global scope, especially in the planning phaseStrong knowledge of project governance, documentation, and reporting standardsDemonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments (business, IT, compliance, vendors, etc.)Professional mindset with a high sense of responsibilityExperience working in a consulting firm will be an added advantagePrior experience working in a bank’s IT Department, vendor selection, SLA, and performance management, coordinating with Japan-based stakeholders and background in managing cutover planning, data migration, and UAT across multiple countries are a plus.
