Leads and encourages groups for continuous improvement or progress projects. PEAK ( PLANNING, ENGAGEMENT, ACHIEVEMENT & KNOWLEDGE ) Newell’s brand improvement strategy, is fundamental to that goal & a crucial element in our future systemsResponsibilities And TasksImplementation of "Lean Manufacturing in the axes of quality, productivity, equipment maintenance and visual management, respecting the Group's safety requirements. Achieve objective performance improvement results through deployment of PEAK processes within manufacturing sites within Malaysia.Support delivery of business units strategy plans in building the capability and implementation of continuous improvement across the organization to meet defined goals and milestone.Support and build monthly, quarterly and annual deployment strategies & plans for PEAK / continuous improvementOperationally initiate the set of workshops, improvement groups, Kaizen and manage the continuous improvement leaders. Perform regular & periodic validation of each project and initiative with each function and operating unit.Teach, coach & facilitate hierarchical line in all methods of progress relevant to the Plant and monitoring the multidisciplinary teams involved in the projects.Organize and lead communication regarding the Projects. Network with other global & organization leaders & to learn & share “Best Practices”Assess successes and progress.Sustain (PDCA) actions.Ensure compliance with the methods, including the accuracy of the calculation of the indicators of project performance.Maintain the "kaizen" state of mind in the Organization. Ensure that Kaizen / continuous improvement is impacting both results an cultural changes including – develop financial benefits of automation, driving engagement & linkage of individual & team activities to losses & business needsYou must always take safety into account in both new and old projects, issues of adequacy of machinery, ergonomics in the workplace, standardizationRequirementsTechnical Senior Engineer, with proven experience and leading deployment of Continuous Improvement activities / within manufacturing sotes ( Ideally Black Belt certified)Comply with internal rules and regulations.TPM, Six sigma or equivalent continuous improvement background ( 5 years )Project management & experience in automationSkills & AbilitiesAbility to motivate, develop people, communicate, listen and perceiveAbility to work from execution to shop floor levelExcellent analytical, influence and communication skillsCreative and flexible to support development of new solutions / ideasExcellent time managementLeadership characteristicsNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
