It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.About The RoleThe role of the Senior Contracts Officer is to provide expert advice on building related procurement protocols and contracts and to coordinate the development, preparation and implementation of several contracts which may include standing offer agreements, building services agreements and service maintenance contracts. The position will focus on ensuring the services provided meet quality and value for money expectations of clients.Duties And Skills InvolvedCoordinating the development and the preparation of standard documents for agreements, service maintenance contracts.Providing advice and training to departmental staff and management to ensure the application of quality contract administration, practices, policies and procedures necessary for the effective administration and management of contracts by Regional Offices.Together with nominated regional officers, undertaking Client and Contractor operational awareness and feedback sessions aimed at ensuring the effective management and delivery of service maintenance contracts.Working with the stakeholders to ensure innovative and commercially viable Service Maintenance Contracts which provide value outcomes to Clients, are developed, and implemented uniformly throughout the department.Undertaking the role of Superintendent's Representative as required and being above to work closely with other delivery sections to produce successful outcomes.Proactively managing the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.Mandatory RequirementsCurrent Driver's LicenceHow do I apply?
