You will be responsible for transforming complex institutional data into actionable insights, developing insightful dashboards, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust data analysis and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within the education and research sector.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Visualization: Perform intermediate to advanced data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and visualization using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.Dashboard & Reporting: Design user-friendly, decision-support dashboards and KPI reports, adhering to standardized institutional frameworks.Database Management: Utilize strong SQL skills for querying and managing both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.ETL/ELT & Pipelines: Operate and monitor pre-configured ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., Airflow) for efficient data extraction.Statistical Analysis: Apply descriptive and inferential statistical techniques for trend analysis, predictive modeling, and generating data-driven insights.Data Governance: Ensure strict adherence to data governance policies and privacy guidelines while handling sensitive information.Automation: Use Excel macros, Power Automate, or Power BI scripting to automate repetitive reporting tasks and improve efficiency.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, effectively translating complex data findings for non-technical stakeholders.Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.Technical Skills:Demonstrated expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau for advanced dashboard development.Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.Proven experience in data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.Sector Experience (Preferred): Experience in institutional reporting, KPI tracking, or policy impact analysis within an organizational or public sector setting is highly desirable.Additional Skills (Good to Have):Basic proficiency in R programming for statistical analysis and advanced visualization.Familiarity with cloud BI services (e.g., Azure Synapse) for data extraction.Basic understanding of AI concepts and experience using AI-augmented dashboards.Knowledge of educational data standards (e.g., IPEDS) is a significant advantage.Ideal Candidate Profile:We are looking for a proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.Interested candidates who meet the mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply.
