This role plays a vital part in ensuring industry-leading uptime and reliability for our cloud infrastructure, directly supporting our ability to deliver innovative solutions to global clients.You will work on advanced hardware platforms, lead troubleshooting efforts, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain peak performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Job PurposeAs part of our Deploy & Run team, you will:Rack and stack servers and network gearMaintain fiber and copper cabling infrastructurePerform hardware swaps and break/fix activities (RMA, spare parts)Provide smart hands support for remote engineering teamsMonitor environmental conditions and respond to incidentsManage spares inventory using RFID systemsExecute change management and preventive maintenance programsEnsure compliance with ISO, SOC, HIPAA and other industry standardsConduct monthly audits and implement security best practicesMaintain and develop monitoring and automation toolsPerform Netbox data entry and infrastructure auditsRepresent facility maintenance in change management processesWhat You’ll Be Working OnTroubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve failures in complex GPU-based servers (air and liquid-cooled)Hardware Testing & Qualification: Support burn-in/stress testing and qualification of new hardware platformsVendor Management: Manage support tickets, coordinate with vendor personnel, and maintain hardware issue trackingInventory Management: Ensure accurate spares inventory and timely replenishmentDeployment Support: Assist with racking and cabling during infrastructure expansionDocumentation & Communication: Maintain detailed records and communicate effectively across teamsPhysical Demands: Work in environments with sound, vibration, and thermal exposure; lift up to 60 lbsOn-Call Support: Provide occasional after-hours support for critical issuesRequirementsYOUR QUALIFICATIONSServer Hardware Expertise: Proven experience with GPU-based servers (air and liquid-cooled)Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of server hardware, BMC manageability, BIOS settings, and firmware deploymentData Centre Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a data center environmentNetworking Knowledge: Familiarity with InfiniBand switches and network topologyLinux Skills: Basic system administration and command-line proficiencyProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilitiesCommunication: Excellent organizational and time management skillsEducation: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related fieldAdditional preferred qualifications:Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) technologiesCertifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNAScripting experience (Python, Bash)Familiarity with DCIM tools and cooling systemsExperience in fast-growing startup environmentsKnowledge of cabling systems (fiber optic, copper, structured cabling)Familiarity with Nvidia Smi and ipmi tool commandsSafety-oriented mindset and ability to work independentlyBenefitsOUR BENEFITSFuture-proof job opportunity with a true development guarantee at the world´s largest supplier for fully integrated Data Center servicesInternational working environment with inspiring cross-border career opportunitiesTOP trainings with internationally recognized state-of-the-art certificationsAttractive salaries with an annually salary increases + and many other social and monetary benefitsCreative working culture with challenging responsibilities and a high level of autonomyDIVERSITY, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY and WORK-LIFE BALANCE are practiced values!Do you need more good reasons?
