Senior Data Engineer

The client is seeking Senior Data Engineer to work closely with Python/Databricks developers in a SAFe/Agile environment. The role involves end-to-end data modelling, from conceptual/schema design to implementation within Databricks frameworks running on AWS S3. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with strong collaboration skills and experience in regulated or pharma manufacturing environments. The role focuses on modelling data related to pharma supply chain operations including manufacturing, inventory, and logistics data — within the AWS Databricks environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical).Design conceptual and physical data models for supply chain data domains such as materials, orders, production batches, and shipment trackingCollaborate with Python/Databricks developers to ensure models are integrated into ETL pipelines and data products.Work with semantic/ontology models where applicable.Implement models within Databricks frameworks on AWS S3, EC2.Utilize cataloguing tools such as Unity Catalog or Informatica Data Catalog.Support data governance and documentation standards.Participate actively in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Technical Skills/Must Haves:5-7+ years expData modelling tools: Erwin, Databricks modelling framework.AWS Cloud environment experience (S3, Databricks).Familiarity with data cataloguing tools (Unity Catalog, Informatica).Hands-on experience with Python and Databricks is advantageous.CI/CD and code repository experience in GitHubAdvantage:Pharma manufacturing experience or regulated environment experience preferred.Knowledge of ontology/semantic modelling is a plus
