Senior Data Scientist

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Data Scientist to join a growing consulting team in Oslo!This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges end-to-end, from ideation and data strategy, to modelling and deployment, to presenting insights that shape critical decisionsAbout Us:We are a consulting house built on deep technical knowledge, long-term relationships with customers in Oslo, and a passion for delivering value through data. Our clients span multiple industries, including government/public sector, energy and finance, giving you the opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful projects that blend analytics, engineering, and strategy.What You’ll Do:Partner with clients to understand business challenges and identify opportunities where data and AI can create measurable impact.Design, build, and deploy scalable data solutions - ranging from analytical dashboards to ML-powered applications and data products.Work hands-on across the full stack: data ingestion, modelling, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and front-end or dashboard interfaces.Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help shape our growing data community.What We’re Looking For:Minimum of a Bachelors in an IT or Engineering-related subject Strong experience with data science and machine learning (Python, SQL, notebooks, model development, ML ops principles).Solid engineering capability - either comfortable building backend services (e.g., Python proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, Django) or Data platform/Warehouse/Pipeline development in the cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Spark, Snowflake, Delta Lake)Competence in deploying and integrating ML models into production systems.Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical work.You enjoy client-facing roles and can adapt quickly to new domains.Fluency in English and Norwegian Why Join Us:Work on impactful, high-visibility projects across various industries.A collaborative culture with supportive, highly skilled colleagues.Opportunities for professional development and certifications.Budgets to attend conferences locally and abroadSalary model consisting of a fixed base + bonus/commission scheme.Flexible working arrangements with an office located centrally in Oslo.Lots of optional social events for you and family to attend - these include lunches and trips around Oslo, as well as our annual company vacation abroadCompany cabins to enjoy with family/friendsFor any questions, contact Lucy on l.whiting@tenthvolution.com
