Senior Design Engineer(Steel & Wooden Works)

Giza Wood -We are looking for below position urgently.We are seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer with a strong background in design & Quantity Surveying to join our team. This role requires expertise in both wood work design, material estimation, and proficiency in industry-standard software applications.Core Responsibilities· Design and develop detailed technical drawings for metal fabrication projects· Create comprehensive designs for woodworking and carpentry projects· Prepare accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and quantity takeoffs· Ensure all designs meet manufacturing standards and client specifications· Perform precise material quantity surveys for metalwork projects· Calculate accurate material requirements for wooden structures and furniture· Optimize material usage to minimize waste and reduce costs· Prepare detailed cost estimates for project bidding · Comprehensive knowledge of woodworking methods and joinery· Deep understanding of metalwork fabrication processes and techniques· Produce complete shop drawings and fabrication drawingsJob RequirementsBachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Applied Arts.AutoCAD & Microsoft Office Suite AppsMinimum 5 years of proven experience in metal and woodwork designsWillingness to relocate outside CairoSubmit your CV to: a.shawky@giza-power.com
