Senior Design Manager (Building, Hotel)

Salary: Upto 3,500 USDLocation: Ho Chi MinhResponsible for leading and managing the overall design process from concept to construction for large-scale mixed-use or high-rise projects, ensuring design quality, compliance, and alignment with project objectives.Job Description·       Oversee all design phases, from concept and schematic to detailed design and construction documentation.·       Coordinate closely with internal teams (Development, Construction, Sales & Marketing, Operations) and external consultants (architects, authorities).·       Manage selection, appointment, and performance of design consultants to ensure scope, quality, and schedule compliance.·       Ensure designs meet project feasibility, cost targets, and positioning goals.·       Guarantee adherence to Vietnamese codes, international standards, and company design guidelines, including sustainability objectives.·       Identify design risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.·       Establish and monitor design programs aligned with project timelines and deliverables.Required working experience·       10–15 years of experience in design or project management for large-scale developments.·       Experience with international developers or consultants in Vietnam is an advantage.Required qualifications·      Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related fieldRequired Languages:·       Fluent in English (spoken and written)Required knowledge and skills·       Strong understanding of local building codes, authority procedures, and construction practices.·       Proven leadership and coordination skills in managing multi-disciplinary teams.·       Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into buildable solutions.·       Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and MS Office.
