Job DescriptionOur DevOps team for i.s.h.med hosting is specialized in automation frameworks and establishes automation for initializing and managing i.s.h.med instances including interfaces on OCI. We are seeking dynamic people to join this high-profile, agile development team to own the planning, execution, and delivery of i.s.h.med based customer implementations of Oracle Cloud projects.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a member of a software development or product development teamExceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaboration skills with peers and leadership team membersAbility to work in ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasksKnowledgeable in cloud architecture and security policiesKnowledgeable in SaaS/PaaS based cloud native enterprise application productsWork in an agile DevOps continuous delivery development environment with geographically distributed teams is highly desired Career Level - IC3ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.ResponsibilitiesAs Senior DevOps engineer you will be partnering with various organizations, development, IT and Global Security, and drive technical solutions within the pipeline and other tools utilized by the i.s.h.med development teams.You will play an active role in the setup of OCI infrastructure, configurations and automation of system environments and processesIn your role you will act as a leader and help mentor junior level team members on various DevOps related activities, e.g. Monitoring, troubleshootingPlan, execute and improve patching and security activities on a growing number of OCI based instances and other services.Frequently scan infrastructure to security and update inventoryYou will take on some technical program management projects as well, forecasting future infrastructure budgets and other activities.You will be part of a team which is responsible to ensure the product life cycle and pipeline, processes and tools are enhance and performing to highest SLA standardsEngage with Global Security and IT teams to analyze and define best practices for security, performance, and cloud infrastructure. Technical SkillsExpert in troubleshooting OS and application issues on all IaaS layers (Application, Data, Runtime, Middleware, O/S), investigating application as well as Operation System performance issues.Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux.Must have Cloud knowledge – OCI (preferred), AWS or AzureStrong hand-on work knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes and other DevOps solutionsMust have programming/scripting experience: Java, Python, Perl, bash-scripting, with Rest API knowledgeExcellent written and documentation skillsExcellence of understanding and applying of security standard and best practicesKnowledge of monitoring systems with usual toolsQualificationsCareer Level - IC3About UsAs a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
