Senior DevOps Engineer (On-Site)Location: PIA Road, LahoreExperience Required: 4+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeTimings: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM About the role:We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation, scalability, and infrastructure reliability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and monitoring systems to ensure smooth deployment and uptime of mission-critical applications.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.Automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.Collaborate with developers to improve deployment strategies and streamline production releases.Ensure strong DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and environment hardening.Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational playbooks.Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers on best practices and modern tooling.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions).Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container management and deployment.Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Proficiency with cloud platforms — AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).Strong skills in Linux system administration and shell scripting.Familiarity with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automation.Understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
