Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine.‎The Senior DevOps Systems Engineer plays a strategic role in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps systems that support multiple development teams and business-critical projects. This position is pivotal in enabling smooth collaboration between development and infrastructure teams, ensuring operational excellence, and driving automation across environments. The role will also be a key contributor to our ongoing transition from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud, requiring deep expertise in cloud technologies and migration strategies.How you create impactDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development and production environments.Lead and support AWS cloud migration initiatives, including networking, security, and infrastructure setup.Maintain and optimize containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, ECS).Collaborate with multiple teams & stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable DevOps solutions.Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt).Operate and maintain shared middleware components and monitoring solutions.Ensure observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Airflow).Act as a trusted advisor to development teams, promoting DevOps best practices and “You build it - You run it” principles.What we would like you to bringMinimum 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering and 2+ years in AWS cloud environments.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, IAM, ECS/EKS).Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt).Solid Linux administration skills and scripting (Python, Bash).Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Airflow).Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, EventBridge).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and projects; fluent in English (spoken and written).What's in it for youJoin Kuehne+Nagel’s IT Hub in Tallinn, where your work will have a meaningful impact on the logistics industry.
