To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:Lead the Content Strategy for santander.com: Oversee the overall content strategy of Santander’s corporate website, including content creation in Spanish and English, supervision, editorial planning, proposing new approaches, and ensuring regular updates across all key sections. Conduct research and analysis to create articles and posts on various topics. Event and real-time content creation required. Stakeholder Management and Editorial Governance: Manage relationships with critical internal stakeholders who contribute content to santander.com. Act as the final decision-maker on what gets published, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, tone of voice, and brand reputation. Proactively coordinate with all stakeholders, including top executives, corporate, business units and country teams to identify best practices, provide innovative ideas and insights. Financial and Economic Expertise with a Journalistic Background: Possess strong financial and economic knowledge paired with solid journalistic experience. Develop creative solutions to effectively communicate complex financial concepts. Serve as the ultimate editorial authority for financial content within the Digital Corporate Communications and Social Media area, supervising corporate social media content, executive communications, and santander.com publications. Co-lead the Corporate Website Evolution Strategy: Partner with T&O teams to drive the continuous evolution of the corporate website. Promote innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as AI into content search, personalization, and indexing processes. Analyze performance data and innovate the digital communications strategy to optimize and grow communities and performance metrics. Agile and High-quality Content Creation: Demonstrate the ability to produce compelling, accurate, and engaging content quickly and efficiently, maintaining the highest editorial and quality standards under tight deadlines. Proactively identify engagement opportunities and develop meaningful content, to maximize reach and avoid reputational risks. Manage video content production and its integration into digital media platforms. Collaboration and Teamwork in a Diverse Environment: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, contributing to a creative, inclusive, and high-performance environment aligned with Santander’s global brand and values. (Required)EducationUniversity degree (Required)Journalism specialization (Preferred)LanguagesMinimum C1 level of English proficiency (Required)Knowledge of other languages spoken within Santander, such as Portuguese, will be positively valued. (Preferred)Hard SkillsStrong storytelling and writing skills in Spanish and English. A journalistic background is required. (Required)Strong understanding of finance. (Required)Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and presentation creation. (Required)Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. (Required)High proficiency in image and video content edition will be valued. (Preferred)Soft SkillsStrong team player. Comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
