This influential position will focus on leading the strategic development and execution of road and highway projects that are critical to enhancing the accessibility and connectivity of the Qiddiya area.As the Senior Director, you will be responsible for the overall development and implementation strategy for the delivery of the Qiddiya Earthworks and Roads Program. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of projects that meet high standards of safety, quality, and functionality.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the overall development and implementation strategy for the delivery of the Qiddiya Earthworks and Roads ProgramStrategy to ensure certainty in delivery and value for money outcomesCollaborate with team members to bring the strategy to lifeAssist with procurement strategy and market engagement strategies to attract the Contractors requiredCoordinate and collaborate with other asset classes and disciplines within the Qiddiya City looking for win win outcomesCoordinate with development, delivery, construction, consultants, contractor and authority teams to ensure our contractors are provided the optimum opportunity for successComply with QIC governance requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)15+ years of experience in strategic planning and implementation of transportation or infrastructure projects, with significant experience in roads/highwaysProven track record in managing large-scale projects from conception through completionStrong knowledge of transportation regulations, standards, and best practicesExceptional leadership and team management abilities, fostering collaboration and innovationExcellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levelsExperience in the Middle East or GCC region is an advantageBenefits
