Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance Counsel to lead our compliance practice across our Latin America Operating Unit. This role offers an opportunity to leverage legal and regulatory expertise in a dynamic, international environment while contributing to Coca-Cola’s mission to refresh the world and make a difference.This strategic position will oversee a wide spectrum of compliance and regulatory areas, including Government and Public Engagement, Code of Business Conduct, Trade and Sanctions Compliance, Human Rights, and Third-Party Risk Management.The ideal candidate will function as both advisor and strategic partner—closely collaborating with regional and global teams, embedding compliance into business operations, and influencing business strategy.Learn more about our Code of Business Conduct.What You’ll Do For UsLead Regional Compliance: Oversee compliance across the LATAM Operating Unit, integrating Coca-Cola’s global compliance programs into business operations, including anti-corruption, trade, anti-money laundering, sanctions, human rights, whistleblowing, investigations, and third-party due diligence.Drive Global Collaboration: Serve as a key connector between global subject matter experts and regional teams to tailor compliance initiatives for LATAM while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and providing insights into regional priorities and risks.Identify and Mitigate Risks: Proactively evaluate and mitigate compliance risks in areas such as government dealings, competition law, environmental law, human rights, and third-party oversight. Deliver practical solutions to safeguard business operations.Act as a Strategic Business Partner: Integrate compliance into business processes and decision-making, offering strategic counsel in alignment with complex regulatory and ethical considerations.Relationship Development: Build partnerships with leaders across the business, HR, and legal functions to understand priorities, stay ahead of challenges, and maintain a proactive compliance posture.Engage in Cross-functionally: Work collaboratively to ensure compliance is embedded seamlessly into core business strategies.Manage Projects: Own global and regional projects and perform other duties, as assigned.Qualifications & RequirementsEducational: Juris Doctor (JD) or international equivalent preferred.Experience: 8+ years of experience with a track record of managing risk from a commercial context, with the ability to strategically integrate compliance into business operations.Skills: Exceptional communication, drafting, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing capabilities.
