This role is accountable for translating business strategy into executable technology outcomes, ensuring solutions are delivered reliably, securely, and at enterprise scale. The Senior Director partners closely with business leadership, global IT, and strategic vendors to drive modernization, operational readiness, and continuous value realization across the P&C technology portfolio. This role bridges strategy and delivery by aligning business priorities with technology roadmaps and ensuring solutions are production‑ready, scalable, and sustainable.Key RelationshipsReports to the Head of Technology, RPSPeers within the RPS IT organizationStrong relationships with RPS Business Leadership including Property & Casualty Executives, COO - Risk Placement Services and Operations Leaders, and Branch Managers, as well as the Global IT Organization, including leaders within IT Operations, Information Security, Data, and Digital DevelopmentHow You'll Make An ImpactEnd‑to‑End Technology Delivery: Own the end‑to‑end delivery of critical technology platforms supporting the Property & Casualty business, with accountability for execution, quality, timeline, and alignment to business objectives.Business Outcomes & Value Realization: Partner with Technology Product Management and business stakeholders to translate business strategy and requirements into technology outcomes, ensuring measurable business value is delivered and realized.Operational Readiness & Service Excellence: Ensure technology platforms and services are fully operationalized, scalable, resilient, and supportable, with appropriate support models, customer service workflows, and operational procedures that enable reliable, enterprise‑scale operations.Process Engineering & Delivery Governance: Establish and lead technology delivery processes, standards, and governance to ensure consistent execution, transparency, and alignment across teams and initiatives.Change Management & Adoption: Lead change management in partnership with internal teams, system integrators, and Gallagher change and training functions to ensure effective adoption, operational transition, and user readiness.Enterprise Technology Alignment & Risk Management: Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Governance, and related teams to ensure solutions align with corporate standards, long‑term technology strategy, and compliance requirements, including data governance, security, and regulatory obligations.About YouA relevant technical BS Degree in Information Technology or similar field.10 to 15+ years of technology leadership experience supporting Property & Casualty, insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated, business‑critical environments including brokerage, MGA, Wholesale and Carrier Experience navigating brokerage and underwriting systems and applications.Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery models, including large scale platform implementations, systems integration, and transition to operational support.Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders, product management, and global IT teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.Proven experience translating business strategy and requirements into executable technology roadmaps and production ready solutions.Experience leading and governing system integrators and external delivery partners to ensure performance, accountability, and alignment with enterprise standards.Working knowledge of modern application architectures, integration patterns, data platforms, and cloud services supporting complex business environments.Familiarity with service management, operational readiness, and production support models, including scalability, resilience, and service lifecycle considerations.Track record of ensuring operational readiness, adoption, and sustained value realization for large scale technology implementations.Understanding of enterprise governance, security, data management, and regulatory requirements applicable to business-critical technology platforms.Experience applying Agile delivery principles across Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid models to support large‑scale technology transformation and modernization initiatives.Experience operating within complex, matrixed organizations and partnering across multiple technology and business domains.
