Overall Purpose of the RoleYour primary responsibility will be to lead and support the existing teams on a portfolio of key Client accounts across Ireland. This role requires a leader with strong technical acumen who can optimize building systems performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable facilities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a blend of engineering proficiency, effective leadership, and sound strategic and financial management capabilities.Main duties and responsibilities:º Develop and implement long-term facilities strategies aligned with company goals.º Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and building automation systems.º Ensure uptime and reliability of all critical infrastructure systems (e.g., power, life safety, environmental controls on the sites within your portfolio).º Develop and deliver strategic improvements to service delivery across the portfolio.º Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, company policy and all other company legislation and best practices across the portfolio.º Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.º Develop training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and expertise of your team and drive talent development and succession planning.º Evaluate and adopt smart building technologies, IoT systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).º Oversee compliance with building codes, OSHA, fire/life safety, and environmental regulations.º Build and maintain strong relationships with you key Clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored support solutions as required.º Ensure your teams work closely with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent for their respective workstreams.º Establish, streamline and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure and monitor the performance of the pillars/workstreams within the Department.º Analyse data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhancement.º Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and effectiveness of the Department.º Ensure compliance of company ISO and all quality standards across the Department.º Collaborate closely other Departments to ensure alignment between support initiatives and overall company goals.º Act as a liaison between technical support and other internal stakeholders, advocating for customer needs and driving alignment on support priorities.º Ad-hoc duties as requested by line management.Qualifications and ExperienceRecognised FM, Business management or Engineering qualification essential.Minimum 10 years experience in Technical and Facility Management industry.Minimum 7 years in a director-level leadership roleAt least 5 years Commercial experience of managing and understanding budgets.Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.Ability to develop systems of working that are truly customer focusedRobust technical acumenFlexibilityFull clean driving license.
