Purpose:Responsible for developing and refining high-quality content that supports the firm’s communication and business objectives. Combine editorial, journalistic, and copywriting expertise to produce engaging press releases, feature articles, executive messages, and internal and external communications. Collaborate across functions to ensure all messaging is strategic, brand-aligned, and delivered to a high editorial standard across multiple channels.Responsibilities:Editorial Writing and EditingProduce clear, concise, and impactful write-ups for business key messaging, press releases, media briefs, executive remarks, letters, Q&As, articles, blogs, staff communication, newsletters, and website content.Word complex financial and business information into accessible language for diverse audiences while maintaining the firm’s corporate tone and brand authenticity across all lines of business.Public RelationsDraft talking points for speakers and assist them in creating well-articulated messages.Prepare briefing materials for authorized spokespeople and help polish their wording.Communications Strategy & PlanningPodcast studio content preparation: Shape each episode’s content from concept to final preparation.Oversee topic selection, guest coordination, and narrative structure well in advance.Develop detailed episode briefs outlining objectives, key takeaways, and key considerations.Coordinate with producers, researchers, and hosts to assign roles, timelines, and milestones.Ensure factual accuracy, proper sourcing, and copyright compliance.Curate show notes, episode outlines, discussion questions, and segment timings.Validate all content against editorial standards, audience expectations, and platform guidelines.Maintain a cohesive production calendar and communicate progress to stakeholders.Ensure timely delivery of polished and engaging podcast episodes.Collaborate with the Communications team to develop communication strategy workshops, annual and campaign-specific PR plans.Support crisis communications efforts with timely, accurate, and approved messaging.Internal Communications:Write and edit internal communications to inform and engage employees.Compliance & Approvals:Ensure all communications comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards, securing required approvals from senior leadership and compliance functions.Uphold the firm’s stringent governance, disclosure, and quality standards consistent with expectations for a publicly listed company.Implement and monitor controls across all written communications to ensure information is timely, accurate, reliable, and verifiable for all stakeholders.Apply rigorous compliance and risk management practices to maintain accuracy, transparency, and integrity in all communication outputs.Maintain and enforce a quality assurance framework encompassing data validation, due diligence, and formal fact-checking protocols.Oversee adherence to documented communication policies, ensuring independent verification and clear escalation procedures for discrepancies.Conduct systematic reviews and approvals of stakeholder communications to uphold consistency, accountability, and regulatory compliance.Promote continuous improvement in communication governance and quality standards to strengthen stakeholder trust and market confidence.Performance MeasurementTrack and report on communication engagement and efficacy by examining performance metrics (e.g., media impressions, sentiment, share of voice, engagement), as well as stakeholders' feedback and satisfaction, and adjust strategies accordingly.Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely mannerJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Mass Communication or Economics 7-10 years of experience in communications, of which at least 3 years are in a Journalism role.Strong project management and organization skills with experience in preparing engaging and effective presentations, reports, plans and other communication collaterals to key internal and external stakeholders.Understand both the art and science of effective content creation and have proven experience preparing structured and well-articulated content with a compelling narrative, managing campaigns and analyzing results for actionable insights.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership, supported by advanced proficiency in presentation tools and Excel.Committed to excellence ensuring all deliverables while ensuring the optimal utilization of time and resources. Takes pride in delivering flawless work and continuously looks for and makes improvements in their work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels. Demonstrate clarity and precision in providing feedback, proactively updates management on progress and challenges, and adapts communication style, tone, and content to suit diverse audiences and contexts.Demonstrate a goal-oriented and self-driven approach, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, operating effectively at both strategic and tactical levels while maintaining strong accountability and ownership.Experienced in building partnerships and works well in teams.
