Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering firm based in Bucharest, part of an international group delivering complex infrastructure and industrial projects across Europe. With a strong focus on sectors such as water treatment, civil works, hydraulics, energy, and automation, the company offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and collaborate with expert teams using advanced digital tools.You’ll be responsible for the design and documentation of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial installations, across all project phases—from bidding to execution. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and support commissioning activities, ensuring compliance and quality throughout.If you're ready to take your engineering career to the next level and be part of something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial installationsPrepare technical documentation for bidding, design, and execution phasesCollaborate with civil, mechanical, process, and hydraulic departmentsSupport commissioning and provide technical assistanceEnsure compliance with procedures, standards, and project timelinesCoordinate with subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality benchmarksManage and update AS-Built documentation and ensure traceabilityTravel occasionally for short site visits (domestic & international)RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical designProficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of EPLAN, CANECO, and REVIT is a plusExperience in industrial automation is an advantageEnglish proficiency (written & spoken);Strong initiative, ownership, and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving abilities, communication, and team spirit
