Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) – Data Centre Project – FrankfurtA major data centre development in Frankfurt is seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to lead electrical safety and switching operations across a large-scale, multi-contractor environment. This is a key onsite role responsible for ensuring safe systems of work on HV/MV/LV networks throughout all project phases.Role OverviewLead electrical safety on a high-risk technical project, managing all live or potentially live systems.Oversee and enforce electrical safety rules, safe-system-of-work procedures, LOTO, and electrical permit systems.Plan and approve energisations, isolations, and switching operations (HV/MV/LV).Carry out electrical hazard identification, arc-flash mitigation, and ensure correct PPE and procedures are in place.Review and approve electrical RAMS, switching plans, and commissioning documentation.Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with legislation and project standards.Support testing, verification, troubleshooting, and inspection of electrical systems.Provide safety communication onsite including toolbox talks, system updates, signage and incident escalation.Work closely with engineering, commissioning and construction teams to maintain safe project delivery.RequirementsFully qualified electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent Level 6+ electrical qualification).High- and low-voltage Authorised Person training completed within the last 2 years.Strong experience delivering HV/MV infrastructure or complex power distribution projects (data centre, utilities, DNO/IDNO, or power generation preferred).Proven background in large-scale installation projects, including supervision of subcontractors.Competent in electrical testing, verification, live-dead-live testing, phasing, and troubleshooting.Solid understanding of arc-flash hazards, electrical safety regulations and control-of-hazardous-energies procedures.Ability to read and interpret SLDs, schematics, vendor manuals and commissioning documentation.Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.Excellent IT skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Must be willing to be full-time onsite in Frankfurt - (rotations home available)DesirableExperience with commissioning processes from early stages to IST.Knowledge of mechanical systems and multidisciplinary coordination.
