Senior Electronics Engineer – Medical Devices

Our main focus is radiofrequency ablation. Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware electronics design and embedded software development, particularly in Linux-based systems and Qt frameworks. You will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of next-generation medical devices. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test electronic hardware for medical devices, including analog and digital circuits.Develop embedded software for device control and user interfaces using Linux and Qt.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, and clinical experts.Participate in system architecture design and integration of hardware and software components.Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, IEC 60601).Support prototyping, debugging, and validation of electronic systems.Document design processes, specifications, and test results.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware electronics design and embedded software development.Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken) is required.Strong experience with Qt for GUI development.Solid understanding of micro controllers, PCB design, and signal processing.Experience with medical device development is a strong plus.Familiarity with regulatory standards and documentation practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
