Senior Embedded EngineerResponsibilities Plan, design, and develop embedded systems for innovative hardware products.Build and evaluate functional prototypes for validation and demonstration purposes.Architect scalable system designs to enable successful commercial deployment.Create detailed schematic designs and oversee the PCB layout and validation process.Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for processors and RTOS environments.Design and test PCB layouts using standard industry tools.Integrate wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular networks.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure project success.Maintain thorough documentation across all design and development phases, supporting reviews and lifecycle management.Effectively manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.Apply best practices in design, testing, and human-centered engineering principles.Expected Profile Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing commercial embedded hardware and software solutions.Strong proficiency in schematic design and multi-layer PCB development.Skilled in C and C++ programming for embedded systems (ARM, microcontrollers).Experience in mixed-signal circuit design and complex system integration.Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and a keen interest in embedded AI applications is an advantage.Solid understanding of software design patterns and version control (Git).Experience using KiCAD 6 or similar PCB design tools.Proficient in designing and debugging 4+ layer PCBs using oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.In-depth understanding of wireless communication protocols.Experience working with RTOS (e.g., Zephyr) and concurrent system architectures.Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.Working knowledge of product certification and compliance standards.Share your updated CV to careers@talentexpress.lkFollow our LinkedIn page for upcoming vacancies WhatsApp – 0779 391 791 Web - www.talentexpress.lk
