The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical project planning, management, and oversight for key initiatives and implementation of projects, ensuring that these projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while applying all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) that enables the business to retain its ISO 9001 accreditation. The incumbent will liaise with clients, contractors, and all other project stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation related to projects is prepared in accordance with necessary safety laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and Manage infrastructure projectsResponsible for a project in all respects, budgeting, resource allocation, procedures, profitability, quality, and standardsCommunicate project goals and deliverables; assess and evaluate project team work to ensure successful completion of projectsTechnical and Design Lead on projectsRegular client contact Tendering & Proposal writing and supportUndertake client liaison and communication with all stakeholders of the individual projectsPreparation of project plans, conducting project health checks and overseeing the implementation of recovery plans where necessaryTechnical coordination within the business and with external team members and / or stakeholdersProvide technical advice to field staff in order to ensure that construction procedures are being carried out properlyOversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, according to specifications and regulations on time and within budgetEvaluate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measuresGenerate relevant reports for projects as required by the businessConduct & attend meetings with clients, professional teams, and contractors.Qualifications and Experience:Degree in Civil Engineering: BSc, B Eng, or B-Tech10+ years’ post first qualification experience in the built-environment and at least 5 of these years in a technical/design lead roleRegistered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer / TechnologistProven track record as technical/design Lead on multi-disciplinary bulk water/wastewater infrastructure projectsKnowledge of QA and OHS requirementsProject Management experience to manage medium to large infrastructure projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure projectsExperience in contract administration & management of multi-disciplinary building & infrastructure projectsExperience managing and leading a team of Engineers and TechniciansApplication Process:If you're passionate about being a Senior Engineer and eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic organization, we’d love to connect with you.Application Deadline: 07 November 2025Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
