This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.Schedule ManagementOversee and update the Integrated Management Schedule for multiple construction projects using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.Identify and implement innovative improvements in the planning and scheduling processes to enhance project efficiency and performance. Monitors project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain baseline programmes for Data Centre development projects from feasibility studies, land acquisition, resources obtainment, authority submissions, design development, procurement, execution (i.e. detailed construction programmes for various trades) to handover. The baseline programmes should be up to Level 4.Advise the timeline implications for various procurement strategies and construction contract interfacesIdentify and analyse the programme risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategiesSupport the implementation of FOK programme so that the technical submittals (materials, shop drawings, method statements) are strategically planned with the vendors for timely submission, procurement, arrival on site and installation.Work closely with contractors to maintain project-specific Procurement TrackerWork closely with Construction team to plan for authority submissions.Progress Tracking & ReportingRegularly report on schedule progress and performance metrics, providing timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders.Monitor and track project schedules from the contractors against the baseline programmes, identifying and analysing critical path activities and potential delays.Prepare weekly and monthly programme updates to suit various reporting purposes, including i) high level milestones tracking (planned versus actual), ii) S-curve reports and Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis (planned versus actual)Prepares reports on project progress, delays, and defects, as well as technical reports and analyses.Create detailed project schedules, including short-term schedules, progress reports, and scheduling extracts to track project timelines effectively.CollaborationWork closely with the construction team and contractors to assess actual progress, evaluate construction methodologies, and align schedules with project milestones.Communicate with vendors to confirm lead times, delivery dates, and ensure that materials and services are delivered as scheduled.Manages the daily activities on the construction site, overseeing the work of contractors, subcontractors and workers.Coordinates and manages cross-functional teams internally and externally, including designers and engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure the project milestones are met.Coordinate with contractors closely to ensure the necessary materials and equipment are available on site when required as per project timeline and that they are used effectively.Conduct site inspections to monitor and verify the progress made on weekly basis.Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate schedules and resolve conflicts.Delay Analysis & MitigationPrepare comprehensive delay analysis reports, identify potential risks, and propose strategies for recovery or delay mitigation.Assist with Extension of Time (EOT) analysis submitted by ContractorsQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor degree in construction related field with formal training in Microsoft Project and/ or Primavera 6.8 to 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Data Center (DC).Proven experience as a scheduler, planner or project manager in construction projects.Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in EPC project.Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, with a strong technical foundation in scheduling and project management.Knowledge of DC technologies, regulations, Infrastructure, sequence of work, SOO, QA/QC, CxM, and EHS is preferred.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools is preferred.Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Should have good understanding of DC project delivery cycle.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.) is required.Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulations.Should be familiar with local permitting process.DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
