With our global reach, we ensure the global supply chain has access to the Flash memory it needs to keep our world moving forward.Job DescriptionDevelop, optimize, and maintain laser soldering and selective wave soldering processes.Lead process characterization, DOE, and root cause analysis for yield and quality improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality to support NPI and mass production.Evaluate and implement new equipment, tooling, and process technologies.Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and FMEAs.Provide technical training and guidance to production and engineering teams.Monitor process KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Support customer audits and technical reviews.Drive for process cpk improvement to meet cpk goal of >1.67 and stretch goal of >2.0.Drive for process yield FPY improvement to meet >99.5%.QualificationsREQUIRED:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing EngineeringMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing process fieldPreferredLaser soldering and/or selective wave soldering processesExperience with automation, vision inspection systems, and process control softwareKnowledge of SMT, wave soldering, and reflow processes.Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantageSkillsProficient in DOE, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys)Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and lead cross-functional teamsAdditional InformationSandisk thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
