In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in investigating low yield and maverick lots, evaluating continuous improvement (CI) rejects, and ensuring the robust performance of our test programs, hardware, and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys collaborating with global counterparts, and is committed to driving product quality and efficiency within a dynamic semiconductor environment.What You Will DoPerform Engineering Analysis & Disposition: Conduct in-depth engineering analysis, provide dispositions, perform bench verification, and implement corrective actions for low yield, maverick, and CI reject lots to ensure product quality and resolve issues efficiently.Global Collaboration on Engineering Issues: Interface regularly with U.S. counterparts on critical engineering issues, including low yield and maverick lots, CI rejects evaluation, test program problems, and hardware and system-related challenges, fostering cross-functional problem-solving.Lead Product & System Qualification: Take charge of the qualification process for new products, new test systems, new test software, and new hardware, ensuring they meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.Cross-Departmental Interaction: Actively interact with other departments to address product-related issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution across the organization.Design & Modify Test Systems: Design and modify test systems and equipment as needed to eliminate processing errors and enhance overall testing efficiency and accuracy.Reporting & Documentation: Submit comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports. Write and maintain test/process specifications in accordance with company documentation policies.Product Information Management: Issue specific product information for testing and processing, ensuring all relevant teams have access to accurate and up-to-date details.Maintain Product Documentation: Continuously maintain and generate essential product documentation, contributing to a robust knowledge base.Drive Continuous Improvement: Initiate and champion systems, procedures, and services for continuous improvement across engineering processes and product performance.What Will You BringA Higher Diploma / degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent semiconductor experience.Extensive hands-on experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) repair and product/equipment characterization, utilizing basic statistical methods and Statistical Process Control (SPC).Knowledge in the use of advanced statistical techniques for machine assessments such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
