Job Description

Position DescriptionThe candidate should have considerable knowledge in SAP Functional Module APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) including basic configuration of these modules as part of Level 2 SAP Support organization.Your future duties and responsibilities Receive, analyze, and resolve Level 2 SAP support tickets from end-users. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose preventive solutions. Escalate complex issues to Level 3/functional teams with detailed documentation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity on incident status and resolution. Assist users with system navigation, transaction execution, and functional queries. Support minor SAP system configuration changes under supervision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and known error records. Contribute to knowledge base updates to reduce recurring incidents. Participate in process improvement initiatives and SAP system enhancements. Provide feedback for system optimization and automation opportunities.Administrative Adherence to all company mandated responsibilities.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 1-3 years of SAP Functional experience with exposure to SAP APO (integrated with SAP ECC). Knowledgeable in DP (Demand Planning), SNP (Supply Network Planning), CIF (Core Interface) and other related components. Exposure to multinational clients or multi-entity setups is preferred. Familiarity with SAP Level 2 Support activities, including incident management, service requests, problem management and defect management Ability to prioritize and manage tickets, communicate with end users, and provide timely solutions.Other Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills to interact with global users and cross-functional teams. Team player, collaborative, and able to handle multiple priorities in a support environment. Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment.
