Chery Automobile is a leading Chinese auto company and an international brand whose business covers more than 80 countries and regions.For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a (Senior) Engineer – Vehicle Performance, Energy & Consumption (WLTP)We welcome you to join a growing team of extraordinarily talented and enthusiastic people, developing tailor-made cars for the European market.We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual wo will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.Job DescriptionDevelop vehicle performance and drive quality to satisfy the European customer requirementsProviding support and developing recommendations for Chery’s EU CO2 and PT strategyDefinition and implementation of EU specific vehicle performance and drive quality targetsDefinition and implementation of EU specific WLTP energy & consumption targetsClose collaboration with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective Requirements:You have a Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or comparableYou have significant (>3 years) experience in a similar position for vehicle performance, drive quality, energy & consumption development (BEV, PHEV, ICE)You are able to balance vehicle & system targets to achieve regulatory compliance and a high level of customer acceptanceYou have a profound knowledge of the emissions regulations (WLTP, RDE, ISC)You have a good knowledge of PT test, application and simulation toolsYou are willing to travel and have a valid European driving licenseYou are willing to work in an international and intercultural environmentYou have a pro-active and self-motivated attitudeYou are a good communicator with an open and structured mindsetYou have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)You are fluent in EnglishMandarin skills advantageousWe are an international team of professionals with 19 nationalities, friendly and supportive team members, looking forward to your joining!
