Launched in 2022, our product structures drawing data, which is considered the most critical data in manufacturing, using machine learning and various other technologies. By linking this structured data with diverse information, we have enabled its use as a valuable information asset.The product is already being used by a wide range of customers, from major domestic manufacturers to processing companies, and is growing rapidly. In 2023, we began sales overseas (in the US, Thailand, and Vietnam) and are accelerating our global expansion. Moving forward, we aim to achieve overall optimization that transcends departments and companies by reproducing and consolidating manufacturing expertise through technology, extending beyond just drawings. On the development front, we have numerous themes we want to tackle, including enhancing the functionality of our data platform, developing new applications that run on the platform, and strengthening our infrastructure to handle the dramatic increase in users and data volume. We are looking for colleagues to join us in tackling the development of this challenging and rewarding product.■ Job DescriptionYou will be involved in organizational management activities to maximize the value delivered by the technology organization, as well as participating in the business strategy decision-making process. This position is expected to manage multiple teams (initially, you will start by managing a single team of about 4-6 members for onboarding purposes).Setting and managing the achievement of goals aligned with business strategy and product vision.Developing team leaders and managers through 1-on-1s, performance feedback, etc.Organizational design in anticipation of business and product scaling.Planning and promoting information flow to improve productivity in a bilingual (Japanese/English) organization.Promoting engineer recruitment activities and external public relations.Fostering and instilling company culture.Proposing and implementing other initiatives to maximize the value delivered by the engineering organization.■ About the TeamPlease refer to this slide for an overview of the development organization.Engineers, designers, and product managers are divided into about a dozen teams of 4-6 people each, working on various functions (drawing utilization, search, quoting, etc.), data infrastructure development, machine learning/MLOps, R&D, Enabling (QA/SRE), and Security.We aim to strike a balance between "ensuring the autonomy and speed of each team" and "achieving overall optimization through cross-team standardization," incorporating concepts from Team Topologies in our organizational design.20% of our development members are from overseas (Asia, Europe, North America, etc.). (e.g., JLPT N2 level or equivalent, approximately 3 years of work experience in a Japanese environment, etc.)Experience demonstrating leadership and achieving results as a manager of a development organization composed of multiple teams.Experience developing and operating products as a software engineer.Ability to complete daily work in Japanese, including text-based communication and meetings.Management experience in a multinational team.Management experience in a rapidly growing organization.Experience promoting Scrum and agile development processes.Business-level English proficiency.
