As part of this journey, we’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who wants to lead cross-functional engineering teams and influence the technical direction of one of our most strategic product areas.How You Will Make an Impact As a Senior Engineering Manager for StrongPoint’s Order Picking SaaS platform, you will lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams responsible for building and scaling our cloud-native, mobile-first solution. You’ll guide technical direction, drive delivery and build strong engineering capabilities across a distributed organisation.You will:• Lead and develop 2–3 high-performing, cross-functional agile teams across several geographies• Coach and grow engineering talent, including senior engineers and technical leads• Build an inclusive and feedback-driven culture focused on learning and empowerment• Provide clarity and direction during periods of change and continued product scaling• Define and monitor engineering KPIs and delivery metrics• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Product and UX to translate business goals into engineering plans and platform roadmaps• Guide the platform’s architectural evolution with a focus on scalability and resilience• Promote engineering best practices across automation, CI/CD, observability, quality and DevOps• Offer hands-on leadership in critical technical decisions and escalation scenarios• Support strategic initiatives such as platform unification, cloud modernisation and AI-driven capabilities• Contribute to shaping StrongPoint’s broader technical vision and operating modelTo be successful in this role, we believe that you…• Have 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a solid technical foundation and modern cloud-based architectures• Bring 3+ years of experience leading multiple agile engineering teams in a product- and customer-centric environment• Have proven experience in SaaS or enterprise-grade system design, ideally with multi-tenant, distributed or event-driven architectures• Understand DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment automation• Have led teams through technical and organisational change• Are strong in people leadership: coaching, feedback and career development• Make collaborative and data-driven decisions with a long-term mindset• Communicate clearly across both technical and business audiences• Bonus: experience with .NET, Azure, mobile-first product environments or data/AI-enabled platformsWhy Join StrongPoint At StrongPoint you will play a key role in scaling a flagship SaaS product used by leading European retailers.
