The OpportunityAn exciting Opportunity exists to join Cochlear's Dubai team as Senior Events Management Specialist - MERTA. In this crucial role you will partner with teams across the Middle East, Russia, Turkey and Africa region to lead the planning and execution of events across the region. Reporting to the Marketing Director of this region, you will be a part of a global leader in implantable medical technology, and work with high performing professionals across different countries and time zones to coordinate travel to professional events, planning and coordinating event budgets and utilising your fantastic communication skills to ensure alignment of requirements, objectives and commercial guidelines. Your responsibilities include:Lead Event Planning: Own all aspects of internal and external event coordination, including theme, venue, logistics, and stakeholder communications.Coordinate Budgets: Plan and monitor event budgets, ensuring alignment with fiscal targets and marketing objectives.Ensure Compliance: Stay up to date with legal and company compliance regulations, advising stakeholders and coordinating necessary documentation.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, sales, finance, and external agencies to deliver seamless event experiences.Support International Participation: Coordinate MERTA's involvement in global congresses and events, including travel and registration logistics.Evaluate Impact: Assess event outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement and strategic alignment.
