We are hiring!Job Title: Senior Executive Sales & Marketing (Industry: Freight Forwarding)Location: Colombo, Sri LankaWork Type: OnsiteWork Hours: 8AM – 5PMWorking Days: Monday to FridayType of Appointment: PermanentHow to ApplyClick “Easy Apply”orSend your resume to recruitment9@intalent.asiaJob Description :Achieving the annual set performance related target.Supporting the Sales & Marketing Team to achieve the team budget or exceeding the related targets i.e., financial or volumeAssisting the sales and marketing team to meet the year-on-year financial growth and volume growthOverseeing worldwide freight bids and quotes to enhance yieldNew account acquisitions both local and international, to sustain the year-on-year growth expected by the companyNegotiating competitive rates with suppliers i.e., air and ocean linersResolving contractual and commercial disputes with suppliers and customersMaintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance business and additional trade lanesPeriodically presenting information related to individual performance, statistical data, or market dataAssisting with the formulation of forecastsGranting credit as per the company regulations and collecting of debts within the stipulated time frameLiaising with respective customers, internal operational staff, and documentation staff to achieve the completion of the processMaintaining key performance indicators and standards when executing assigned administrative workRequirements:A degree or professional qualification in sales and marketing with a minimum of 2+ years in freight forwarding or marketing experienceAn excellent command of the English and Sinhala language, both verbal and writtenSkills of efficiency when operating remotelyA good understanding of logistics operations and the freight industry, products, and servicesProficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint will be an added advantageThe company core values that are to collaborate, empower and engage
