Working specifically within the Executive Services Team, an integral business unit of ODG, you will bring your client focused experience and interpersonal skills to provide high-level support and advice to members of the public. You will be responsible for the coordination and provision of comprehensive and timely ministerial and executive support to the Director-General and Minister’s Office. You will have a developed knowledge of preparing and coordinating executive documents and have the ability to work within a complex, fast paced, dynamic environment with high pressure workloads and tight deadlines that will challenge and stimulate you.Our department and Minister expect excellence from our team, so if you are a great team player with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude coupled with a passion for high quality client service, we would like to hear from you.As a Senior Executive Services Officer You Will Critically analyse, quality assure and manage the coordination and provision of timely and accurate ministerial and executive correspondence. Oversee the provision of regular reports on the status of ministerial and executive correspondence to the ODG and Minister's Office. Provide an efficient and effective administrative linkage between the department and the Minister's Office to ensure the provision and flow of high quality, accurate and relevant information. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including senior executives and the Office of the Minister) to ensure effective preparation and coordination of ministerial and executive correspondence. Respond to inquiries in a diplomatic, prompt, and appropriate manner and initiate referrals to the department where necessary. Actively participate in and contribute to the good governance and objectives of the department by reviewing responses to all ministerial, executive and other correspondence to ensure standard of presentation, compatibility and compliance with government policy, procedures and departmental style guides. Coordinate and provide authoritative information and assistance with training and advice to offices of senior executives regarding preparation of all types of ministerial and executive documentation including briefing materials and responses. Lead and motivate team members in collaboration with the leadership and direction of the Executive Services Manager and Principal Executive Services Officers and ensure corporate demands of a complex working environment are met.
