Senior Expert Data Analyst

Role descriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Analyst Senior Expert located in Tirana, Albania, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Data Analyst Senior Expert will be responsible for analyzing data, developing/validating credit risk data models, and using advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights. Daily tasks will include data mining, data cleaning, and collaboration with various teams to communicate findings and support decision-making processes. The role involves leveraging analytical skills to drive data-driven strategies and enhance overall business performance. Responsible for development or validation of credit risk models such as PD model and its scorecards, LGD models and IFRS 9 models. Regular communication with RBI validation owner and HO methodology team. Follow up regulatory requirements for IRB model initial and re-development.Qualifications Analytical Skills and Data Analytics experienceProficiency in StatisticsExpertise in Data ModelingStrong Communication skills to present findings effectivelyAdvanced knowledge of SQL and Python/R, SAS, Databricks/ApexBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, IT technology, Statistics, Math engineering or related fieldExperience in the banking sector is an advantage
