Senior Exploration Geologist

Fantastic residential location - Very family friendly & close to the Coast !!!Residential / DIDO - 8/6 roster !!!The RoleThe Senior Exploration Geologist plays a critical role in evaluating geological data and leading exploration efforts. Ensuring the accurate collection, analysis, and interpretation of geological data to inform both operational and strategic decision-making, and to make new discoveries. Lead and mentor geological team members, while collaborating closely with mining, environmental, and engineering departments to optimise resource extraction, enhance safety, and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience:A tertiary qualification in Geology or related field.Extensive exploration geology experience in within a mining or operational environment.Experience in a senior or supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and team management skillsExperience in geological interpretation and modelling.Familiarity with geological software and tools (e.g., Micromine, Datashed or equivalent).Experience with drill programs, including planning, execution, and interpretation.Strong understanding of mining processes, environmental regulations, and safety standards in the mining industry.Other RequirementsCurrent valid Manual Drivers License 4WD experience, an accredited qualification in off road driving (highly desired)First Aid Certification / CPR qualification, (highly desired) Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
