Senior Export Specialist (Manufacturing)

Job Role:As Senior Export Specialist you will be managing the full export cycle, ensuring smooth and timely shipment of goods and generating any related reports.Tasks and Duties:• Manage the full export process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring smooth and timely shipment of goods.• Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions.• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, and logistics) and external stakeholders (customs, freight forwarders, and clients).• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements.• Provide outstanding customer service to international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.• Stay up to date with changes in international shipping regulations and industry best practices.• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and related expenses. Review, verifying and follow up with customers, LC's, payment collection process to ensure that all outbound shipments are aligned with the agreed payment terms.• Create, monitor, and complete shipments on time.• Prepare and maintain a delivery schedule and communicate with all relevant departments.• Prepare and file export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.• Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise, such as delays, damages, or missing items• Determine cost-effective carriers and assist with the re-negotiating of terms of business/service level agreements and performance evaluation and taking corrective actions as required.• Following up & tracing the shipment until destination.• Coordinating with the Clearing Agents and prepare supporting documents required for customs clearanceJob Requirements:• 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.• Bachelor's degree in any related field (preferablyLogistics or international trade)• Strong Knowledge of export regulations.• Professional certification is a PLUS, such as Certified Export Specialist (CES) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS).• Wide knowledge about international trade and latest Incoterms.• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.• Strong Excel knowledge and analytic skills.
