About the OpportunityOur client, a well-established Private Equity firm, is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their close-knit finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise while working in a collaborative, supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and oversee the work of fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliancePrepare LP reports for funds and special purpose vehiclesWork closely with the finance team on fund accounting mattersCollaborate with investment teams on deal-related accounting requirementsSupport year-end closing and audit processesAfter training, potentially manage a fund independentlyWhat We're Looking ForEssential:Approximately 5 years of accounting experienceStrong fund accounting background, preferably in Private Equity or Venture Capital fundsExperience reviewing fund administrator work or working within a fund administration environmentCommercial accounting experience (not exclusively audit background)Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detailAdaptable mindset with ability to think outside the box and problem-solve independentlyTeam player who thrives in a collaborative, close-knit environmentDesirable:Buy-side experience in PE, VC, or asset managementExperience with capital calls, distributions, and IRR calculationsUnderstanding of LP reporting requirements and fund structuresWhat's On OfferFlexible work arrangement with designated work-from-home daySmall, friendly team culture with minimal politicsExposure to diverse learning opportunities across fundraising, new fund setup, and deal-related activitiesCollaborative environment where team members support each other
