Our culture is built on discipline, performance, and continuous improvement — and we seek individuals who thrive in such an environment.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Associate to strengthen our finance operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting and control processes. This role will support strategic financial planning, compliance, and operational excellence while providing leadership within the finance team.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive — with a strong grasp of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial systems (preferably Odoo ERP). They must demonstrate maturity, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.Manage tax compliance and statutory filings (PAYE, VAT, WHT, and others) in line with regulatory timelines and standards.Support cash flow planning, working capital optimization, and treasury management to meet operational and strategic needs.Supervise day-to-day finance operations including payroll, accounts payable, receivables, and inventory costing.Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, address queries, and implement recommendations.Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within finance using Odoo ERP and advanced Excel tools.Collaborate with external stakeholders — auditors, tax authorities, banks, and vendors — ensuring timely resolution of finance-related matters.Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes; track performance against financial plans.Analyse and interpret key financial data, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights to management.Mentor and guide junior finance team members, promoting accountability, precision, and professional growth.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) required.Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within a structured corporate or distribution environment.Strong understanding of IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.Proven proficiency in Odoo ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting tools.Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentives.Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization.Exposure to dynamic, tech-driven financial operations.A disciplined, collaborative, and professional work culture built on excellence and accountability.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their applications via LinkedIn or email their CVs to hr@maxitechglobal.com with the subject line “Senior Finance Associate – Lagos.”
