We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, transparent, and timely financial and regulatory reporting.This is a permanent role based in Bermuda, offering the opportunity to work with global stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives across the business.What you’ll be doingLeading quarterly IFRS financial reporting and variance analysisManaging year-end IFRS reporting and disclosure processesCoordinating Bermuda Monetary Authority submissions and external auditsPreparing and submitting BSCR and Quarterly Financial ReturnsEnsuring compliance with U.S. statutory reporting requirementsLiaising with investment teams to ensure data integrity and reporting alignmentContributing to strategic projects and process improvementsPromoting a culture of ownership and high professional standardsQualificationsHolding a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA)Bringing at least 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, ideally in life insurance or reinsuranceDemonstrating strong IFRS expertise, especially in insurance contracts and financial instrumentsApplying analytical thinking and sound judgement to complex financial mattersBuilding effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholdersCommunicating clearly and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environmentShowing advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting systemsActing independently while collaborating effectively within a teamAdditional Information At L&G, we believe it's possible to generate positive returns today while helping to build a better future for all.
