Position: Senior Financial Analyst (ref: 1121853)Location: Mississauga (in office) Salary: $90-105,000 + RSP Your new company My client is a global manufacturing operation with its head office located in Mississauga. Your New RoleThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial reporting and operational analysis with assigned plants within North America.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of each plant’s support team and works closely with plant management to:Provide analytical supportAssist in the development/enhancement of reporting processesProvide recommendations to improve internal controls and profitabilityPrepares monthly and quarterly operating statements along with supporting analysis and commentary for:Senior ManagementShareholdersPrepares monthly and quarterly KPI’s for:Plant ManagementManufacturing DirectorsAssists in the development of new KPI’sActs as a key liaison for the Plant Manager in overseeing/evaluating his/her plant by:Explaining financial information to managers with a non-financial backgroundPrepares, analyzes, and publishes reporting packages with data integrity for review by:Plant ManagersManufacturing DirectorsVP OperationsGlobal Head OfficeUsed to analyze operations and make strategic decisionsDuring the planning process, is expected to be capable of performing business modeling (what-if scenarios)What you'll need to succeed You will ideally hold a completed CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive financial analytical, cost accounting experience. You will possess a strong understanding of cost and management accounting including budgeting through previous experience in a large multi-site manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of accounting policies including IFRS and GAAP. You will be proficient working in an advanced ERP environment (preferably JDE experience) along with advanced Excel skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-focused and commitment to meet challenging deadlines which sometimes require a flexible schedule with a professional commitment to maintain confidentiality.
