Senior Financial Analyst

We’re working with a well-established financial services client in Mississauga seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 10-month hybrid contract. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where you’ll play a critical role in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting key business decisions with data-driven insights.If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment — this role could be a great fit for you! 💼Key Responsibilities:Handle full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and monthly financial statementsLead/support the month-end and quarter-end close processesPerform in-depth variance analysis and report on key performance indicatorsAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesWork with large volumes of financial data and ensure accuracy in reportingPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis to support decision-makingSupport internal and external auditsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing financial operationsAssist in ERP implementation projects and process improvements where applicableQualifications:CPA/CA designation or in the process5+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or full-cycle accountingExperience in financial services or a similar fast-paced industry is a strong assetStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas); experience with large data sets is preferred 📊ERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.); experience with ERP implementation is a plusStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAble to manage deadlines, multitask, and work both independently and collaborativelyWhy Apply?✨ Work with a respected financial services firm✨ Exposure to a wide range of accounting, FP&A, and data projects✨ Hybrid work model (Mississauga office)✨ Competitive hourly rate and potential for contract extension📧 Interested?
