Senior Financial Analyst – Wealth Management – Toronto, ONCompany Overview:A leading investment management firm with over $6B in assets under management is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, M&A Integration to join its high-performing Finance & Accounting team. Renowned for delivering tailored wealth management and investment strategies to high-net-worth individuals and families, this firm continues to grow rapidly. This Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with the VP Finance and take a lead role in driving the firm’s dynamic M&A integration initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to make a direct impact in a fast-evolving, growth-oriented environment.Core Responsibilities:1. Due Diligence During M&AConduct financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including:Reviewing financial statements, working capital, debt, revenue trends, key financial KPIs, processes, systems, and governance.Identify and provide input on risks, integration challenges, and accounting issues during due diligence.2. Post-Acquisition IntegrationCollaborate with target entity accounting teams and external advisors to finalize the opening balance sheet.Allocate the purchase price to identifiable net assets (Purchase Price Allocation).Monitor and track performance metrics related to earn-out provisions and advise management on progress.Support onboarding of new legal entities and integration of accounting processes, policies, and systems with head office3. Legal Entity Accounting (Post-Acquisition)Manage full-cycle accounting for each legal entity:Month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS/GAAP.Ensure accuracy and completeness of trial balances and compliance with internal controls.Oversee statutory filings and coordinate with external auditors as required.Qualifications:CPA designation or working toward one (strong asset)Strong experience in investment management or financial services5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experienceSolid knowledge of IFRS and full-cycle accountingAudit or M&A integration experience considered an assetWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation package including base salary and performance bonusOpportunity to join a high-growth investment firm with a collaborative, high-performing cultureCommitment to career development and continuous learningFlexible hybrid work model to support work-life balance
