Senior Financial Analyst

Initial 12-month rolling daily-rate contract available for a Senior Financial Analyst. Open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.Our client is a large organisation in the health & insurance industry. They are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for one of their finance and reporting teams.Key Responsibilities include:Undertaking detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance reportingPreparing and reviewing cost estimates, business cases and financial reportsPerforming data extraction, manipulation and analysis using SAS, SQL and ExcelCollaborating with a range of stakeholders to support planning and project deliverySupporting audit, compliance and financial administration activities across cost centres and projectsAbout you:3+ years’ experience in a financial or analytical role, ideally within the public sectorStrong Excel skills including Power Query and VBA highly desirableExperience with SAP highly desirableReporting/visualisation experience with Power BI or equivalent preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamOur client provides a great learning culture and is investing heavily in finance transformation and systems improvement initiatives.Salary Guidance $800 - $850/day incl. super (some flex depending on experience)For more information, please APPLY NOW
