Our mission is to build intelligent solutions for your battle, creating tools that go beyond automation to reason, plan, and take action. The Role: Your Battle We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Founding Engineer to join our team. As an early member of our startup, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and launching our Minimum Marketable Product (MMP) and shaping our technical vision. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an AI-first company and have a direct impact on our success. Initial Commitment (6-9 Months): This is a founding role with an initial commitment to sweat equity.  What You'll Be Building Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines to collect, clean, and process legal documents from various sources. Support the fine-tuning of open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) on our proprietary, hyper-local legal datasets. Work on the implementation of our Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system to ensure AI outputs are accurate and citable. Collaborate with the product team to design and build features that solve real-world problems for real estate professionals. Contribute to MLOps best practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and versioning. Full-Stack Integration: Build and maintain end-to-end solutions, connecting AI back-ends with front-end interfaces using modern frameworks like FastAPI, Django REST, and React, ensuring seamless functionality across the stack.  Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with foundational AI/ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face). Experience or a strong interest in working with LLMs, fine-tuning, or RAG systems. Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building innovative products. Experience with data engineering, web scraping, or MLOps is a plus. Experience deploying/building applications on the AWS platform is a must. AWS certification is preferred.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.  Why Join Us? This is more than a job, it’s a chance to be a founding member of Kognitico.ai, influencing the direction of AI innovation across industries.
