Senior Front-End Software Engineer

As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer at Scoro, you’ll join one of our Software Engineering teams in Riga and help build and evolve a globally used work management product.In this role, you’ll focus on frontend development, build intuitive and scalable user interfaces, and solve complex problems that directly impact how teams interact with Scoro. You’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers, and take ownership of your work throughout the development lifecycle.To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong frontend expertise, a proactive mindset, and experience with AI-assisted development tools. We value clean, maintainable code, curiosity, and teamwork. Build impactful solutions that empower others.Mentor and support junior developers to help them grow their skills and confidence.Drive improvements and take ownership of initiatives within your team and across the engineering organisation.Identify and champion modern technologies, tools, and best practices to keep our stack sharp.Leverage tools like Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or whatever helps you get the job done.You’d be a great fit if you have7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.Hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks like Vue/React/Angular and GraphQL APIs.Keen on working with backend technologies, like Go/TypeScript/PHP and database engines like MySQL/MariaDB/Elasticsearch/Redis.Experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, review, testing, or refactoring.The ability to solve complex problems and design scalable, well-architected software solutions.A strong focus on quality, with the ability to build it into every stage of the development lifecycle.Mentoring and collaboration skills, and enjoyment in helping other engineers grow.Good time management skills and the ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.Verbal and written communication skills in English.A proactive, positive attitude and ownership mindset.Bonus Points ForHaving a degree in IT.Experience with pair programming, TDD, and continuous delivery concepts.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Here’s what awaits you at ScoroPossibility to Make an Impact: Be part of an international, growing company where you’ll work on a meaningful, globally used product that helps businesses streamline their workflows and achieve more.Monthly Gross Salary: Depending on experience, the range is 4700-6200 euros before taxes.Stock Options Package: Be part of Scoro’s growth and share in our success.Health Benefits: Three paid medical days, the option to choose between health insurance, and mental health services.Hybrid Work: We don’t have mandatory office days.
