OverviewAs a Senior Software Engineer in the Content Experience Team at our client´s, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of the Employer Resources Library — a large-scale, high-performance content platform that supports millions of users across 90 locales.You will develop end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend using Java, PHP, React, GraphQL, and WordPress, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experience.You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust solutions, optimize system performance, and continuously implement new technologies and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop full-stack features and enhancements using Java, PHP, React, GraphQL, and WordPress.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and established coding standards.Conduct and participate in peer code reviews, ensuring code quality and maintainability.Diagnose and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and reliability concerns.Mentor junior engineers, providing feedback and fostering continuous learning within the team.Maintain and optimize the WordPress-based CMS to ensure performance, scalability, and high availability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development cycles to define and deliver technical solutions aligned with product goals.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.6+ years of total professional experience in full-stack software development.5+ years with Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks) focusing on backend logic, APIs, and integration layers.1+ years with PHP for backend development and CMS customization.4+ years with React and JavaScript/TypeScript for UI development and front-end architecture.3+ years with GraphQL for API integration and data orchestration.1+ years of experience with WordPress, including plugin development, performance optimization, and theme customization.Demonstrated experience across the entire SDLC, including version control, CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed environments.Experience working in agile and fast-paced engineering teams with iterative release cycles.Preferred QualificationsProven expertise in CMS integration and optimization, particularly with WordPress multisite environments.Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Datadog for code management, issue tracking, and system monitoring.Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit (for Java) and Jest (for React).Advanced knowledge of GraphQL API design, including schema federation and query performance tuning.Experience deploying and scaling solutions in AWS environments, particularly S3, CloudFront, and Lambda.Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code and automation pipelines.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration workflows.Understanding of SEO best practices for optimizing content delivery and improving visibility.
