Senior Functional Consultant - SAP Material Management

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Functional Consultant specializing in SAP Material Management (MM) to join our client team. You will be a key player in a dynamic environment, working with our prestigious client partner, a leading Sri Lankan conglomerate known for its commitment to innovation and engineering excellence.In this role, you will be the driving force behind the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP MM solutions. You will work closely with diverse business units, translating their needs into tangible, high-impact system configurations. This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to significant, nationwide projects that shape the future of business operations in Sri Lanka.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects, from requirement gathering and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.Configure and customize the SAP MM module, including Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification, to align with business processes.Conduct gap analysis and provide expert recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other SAP module consultants (FI, SD, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless system integration.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit and user acceptance testing (UAT).Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.Provide expert guidance, training, and support to end-users and junior team members.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring optimal system performance and stability.Qualifications & Experience:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or Engineering.A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.Proven track record of success in at least two full-cycle SAP MM implementation projects.Deep expertise in SAP MM configuration and customization.Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.SAP MM certification is a significant advantage.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects with a market leader, contributing to their mission.
