Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Queenstown office, supporting the delivery of a strong pipeline of residential and land development projects across the region.This is a key senior technical position within a small, close-knit team that forms part of our wider national business. You’ll work closely with our Team Leader, stepping into a 2IC role with the opportunity to grow into future leadership responsibilities.About The RoleAs a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and delivering geotechnical investigations, design, and reporting for a range of residential and commercial development projects. You’ll provide technical oversight and mentorship within the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, practical, and cost-effective solutions for our clients.While our Team Leader focuses on client relationships and business development, your strengths will lie in technical excellence, project delivery, and supporting the development of our engineers.Key responsibilities include:Leading geotechnical project delivery from investigation through to completionProviding technical input and review on a variety of projectsSupporting and mentoring junior engineers within the teamCoordinating effectively with clients, consultants, and contractorsUpholding high standards of technical quality, safety, and deliveryWe offerA great team environment, competitive remuneration, flexible working options, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
